Come to the “100 Authors” event on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 725 Monte Diablo Avenue in San Mateo, California.

Dr. Joy DeGruy (http://joydegruy.com/) will speak about post traumatic slave syndrome. Dr. DeGruy is a nationally and internationally renowned researcher, educator, author and presenter. With over twenty years of practical experience as a professional in the field of social work, she gives practical insight into various cultural and ethnic groups that form the basis of contemporary American society.
