Launch of “The Engine Woman’s Light” at San Francisco’s Borderlands Books

Lights…cameras…action! Shortly after 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, Sand Hill Review Press and I officially launched my spirits-meet-steampunk novel: THE ENGINE WOMAN’S LIGHT.

The scene, as captured by author and writing coach Teresa LeYung Ryan.
Son Jim Hill readied the electronic connection.
Jude Feldman, General Manager of Borderlands Books, gave an introduction. Then I talked about the creation of The Engine Woman’s Light, and read several selections from the novel.
David, at home, waited for the show to begin.
Geri Spieler’s husband, Rick, filmed the event while Teresa LeYung Ryan snapped the still shots.
Laurel and friends.
Hugged friends.
Cut the cake.
I signed books.
And realized (once again) how much members of the California Writers Club San Francisco Peninsula Branch support each other.
Signed more books.
Have book, hat and goggles–will travel!
