My Vampires Don't Sparkle. They Snore. (by Laurel Anne Hill, Author of "Heroes Arise")

Okay, everyone, I've now posted the concluding half of "Eternal Poetry" on my podcast site (www.laurelannehill.libsyn.com), also available for free on iTunes.  "Eternal Poetry" is a vampire romance and coming of age tale, published by "Nth Zine (Online Exclusives)" in 2005.  Next week I plan to record "Real Vampires Don't Snore," published a number of years ago by "Calliope" and again last year due to popular request.

Both "Eternal Poetry" and "Real Vampires Don't Snore" look at romance and family relationships from a young, supernatural woman's point of view.  My vampires don't sparkle in the sun or play baseball during thunder storms.  They break the vampire stereotypes in their own ways.

In October, I plan to compare the writing of "Eternal Poetry" and "Real Vampires Don't Snore."  I'll discuss the writing techniques I use now versus the ones I used 10-12 years ago.

For more information about me and my compelling fiction and creative nonfiction (including my award-winning novel, "Heroes Arise"), please visit my website at http://www.laurelannehill.com.

Congratulations to Robert J. Sawyer.

Laurel Anne Hill Podcast: All 3 episodes of "Reaching for Rainbows" posted

All three episodes of my award-winning short story, "Reaching for Rainbows" now may be found on my podcast at http://laurelannehill.libsyn.com/.  Each episode is approximately 9-10 minutes long.  "Reaching for Rainbows" is the story of a ten-year-old girl coping with homelessness, a school assignment about Martin Luther King, and the narrow line between reality and imagination.  No need to wait for Martin Luther King Day to listen to "Reaching for Rainbows."
